Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how Savor - Recipe Keeper, operated by Oleksandr Shekhovtsov, collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application.
Savor is designed to minimize data collection while providing you with a personalized recipe management experience.

- No account is required.
- Collect only what is necessary for app functionality, subscriptions, analytics, attribution, support, and optional AI features.
- Never sell personal data.
- Use third-party services only where needed for app functionality.
Section 02
Information We Collect
No account required
Savor does not require account creation, email addresses, or personal registration information. You can use the App anonymously.

Identifiers
- RevenueCat may assign an anonymous User ID to manage subscriptions and ensure access to purchased features. This ID is not linked to your real name or email.
- With your permission, the device advertising identifier may be used through AppsFlyer to measure the effectiveness of our own advertising campaigns.
We never sell or share your data with third-party advertisers or data brokers. We do not use the advertising identifier to show you ads from other companies or build a profile of you across apps. You can deny this permission, and Savor will remain fully functional.
Optional AI feature data
If you choose to use AI-powered recipe detection or import features, recipe content such as public post text, webpage HTML, recipe text, and images you provide for handwriting recognition may be processed temporarily for recipe parsing, OCR, and organization.
AI recipe detection and OCR are optional. You can use Savor without ever enabling these features, and no recipe data will be processed by AI unless you choose to use them.

We use collected information solely for the following purposes:
App functionality and improvement
- Analyze usage patterns to improve app speed and functionality.
- Understand which features are most valuable to users.
- Identify and resolve technical issues.
- Troubleshoot import failures using limited technical diagnostics.
- Enhance the overall app experience based on anonymous usage data.
AI-powered features (optional)
- Parse and organize recipe information from public post text, webpages, or recipe text you provide.
- Recognize handwritten recipe text from images you choose to process.
- Help categorize and structure your recipe collection.
No data sale
We do not sell your personal data to advertisers.

No marketing sale or rental
We do not sell, trade, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
We only share information in these specific circumstances:
- Anonymous analytics with Firebase and Amplitude for app improvement.
- Anonymous User ID and purchase history with RevenueCat for subscription management.
- Device advertising identifier with AppsFlyer for attribution only with your permission.
- Recipe data with OpenAI only when you use AI features.
- Information required by law, court order, or government request.
- Information needed to protect the rights, property, and safety of users.

Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information.
- All transmitted data is encrypted using TLS/SSL.
- System access is limited on a need-to-know basis.
- Most app data stays on your device.
- We collect only what is necessary for app functionality.
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Section 07
Data Retention
Savor is designed to keep your personal recipe library on your device by default. We do not operate a user account database for your recipes.

Your Privacy Rights
You have several rights regarding your information.

Children's Privacy
Savor is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If we become aware that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete the information immediately and take steps to prevent future collection.
Section 10
Changes to Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes:
- We will update the "Last Updated" date.
- We will notify users through the app with a prominent notice.
- We will provide reasonable notice before changes take effect, typically 30 days.
Continued use of Savor after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
