Savor can import a recipe directly from an Instagram reel or post. Copy the link from Instagram, then let Savor turn the caption and visible recipe details into a structured recipe.

Step-by-step

  1. Open the Instagram post or reel you want to save.
  2. Tap the share button in Instagram.
  3. Choose Copy Link.
  4. Open Savor. In the Smart Import section, tap Instagram.
  5. The link is pasted automatically if it is already on your clipboard, or tap Paste to add it. Then tap Import.

Savor creates the recipe and opens it, already saved to your collection. Review it and edit anything you want to change.

Tips for best results

Savor works best when the recipe is written in the caption or visible post text. If the recipe is only spoken in the video, accuracy can vary.

Troubleshooting

  • Make sure the post is public.
  • Use a link to a post (/p/) or a reel (/reel/). Profile, Stories, and Explore links can't be imported.
  • An instagram.com link works with or without the www. prefix.
  • Try again if Instagram temporarily rate-limits previews.
  • Update Savor from the App Store if imports suddenly stop working.
